Morning Joe was great this morning. I can just see Rump's orange head explode as he flipped the channel between them CNN and Fox.

the problem I am having with YOU pointing this out is that you have impressed upon the board, dozens of times, that no rights are absolute and that the government is free to make laws to provide for the safety of the people......so how is it that THIS isn't hypocritical of your position?

i don't think so. It would have to be a religious ban,and the fact there are more countries then not banned shoots that down.
Yates brought up something yesterday i wasn't aware of..something about VISA's cannot be given on a discriminatory basis (including nationality).
But the way I read it is POTUS still has that expressed statutory authority to restrict immigration.
I thank AFTERWARD (policy is set) there can be no discrimination..but it's really dicey,and only SCOTUS can give a fair review.
