The fact is that "murder" is not a legal term when used in common vernacular. As such it is impossible to prove that when someone uses the word "murder" they are lying when they are referring to someone that clearly killed another person. No court in the land is going to accept the argument that "murder" only means convicted of a crime.

How many times has Kyle been on Fox news after Whoopi called him a murderer?

Arguing that he is not a celebrity destroys the case since clearly he is not harmed since he has more fame and fortune now than he did earlier.

People donating to a legal fund for him would also be evidence that he was not in any way harmed.

Pay off his atty and court costs when he loses which lawsuit, the civil one or his as plaintiff against journalists? I'm not sure that PACs can legally do that. Didn't $arah Palin lose one of her many ethics charges for using her $arahPAC as a piggybank for her legal fees and expenses?

Exactly. I have heard ppl say that a drunk driver "murdered" a family member. I have said myself that a drug-addicted ER doctor "murdered" my late husband. People use "murder" frequently w/o any legal implications being attached to the word.

The beauty is we'll never know. Every corporation budgets money to make frivolous lawsuits go away. Someone at CNN yawned and wrote the check. Sandman can't talk. Knowing his type, that's the ultimate punishment. He can't claim he 'got the libs' or he'll be paying back whatever he got.... including the attorney fees that I'm sure his lawyer wouldn't want to give back to him. This lawsuit is different. It's unwinnable, and it will just make Rittenhouse look like the scumbag he is.

He murdered two human beings. He was charged with homicide ("murder"). He was acquitted. The people are still dead at his hand. Even TV talk show hosts are still allowed to express their opinion on cases. Why didn't OJ sue various journalists for saying that HE murdered his former wife and the other guy?

OK, please present your case. When you don't present a case, it will prove you and Rittenshouse have no case.
Your case must meet 3 standards to be valid.
1. You have to point to a specific statement made about Rittenhouse that is factually untrue and was presented as fact and not as opinion.
2. You have to show whoever made the statement knew the statement was false when they made that statement. Any correction by a media source is usually enough to show they didn't know it was false when the statement was first made.
3. You have to show actual harm to Rittenhouse of a monetary fashion. What business opportunities did he lose? The fact that he announced this on Fox News would show he clearly has media access after the statement.

What's funny is when droolers like Dork Hole throw out the suggestion that he walked away with millions.

As if suggesting that somehow makes them big shots and winners by default or their position right.

I cannot imagine what kind of damages a kid like Sandman could have claimed he required compensation for that could have by any stretch of the imagination resulted in a multi-million dollar settlement.

I guess Trumptards have to live vicariously through anyone they can.

That's the other thing about this that I find funny. Rittenhouse will be deposed:

Q: Is it murder when someone kills another person? yes/no
Q: Did you kill another person? yes/no

and the defense can ask for evidence of any money he raised to show he wasn't harmed.

Please provide us the list of donations to any and all fund raising that benefits Kyle in any way.

First, unless the insurance companies push for a settlement, and Kyle's friends funding this legal fight agree to it, I doubt Kyle will win anymore than Sarah Palin.
