Would you appoint a manager to look after a factory then spend your entire day criticising him? Or would you hold perhaps a 6 monthly review. If he was so bad that you felt he should be fired immediately perhaps your ire should be directed at the person who chose him... you.
If memory serves, the common call to democrats under the worst US president the world has ever seen, was to let him get on and run the country. And when his stupidity sent you reeling into the killing fields of Iraq and your world credibility plummeted you followed, unthinking like lemmings with nought but a slobbering obeisance and a yahoo to those who could see what was happening.

That accounting gimmick is why we are rated at 58.9% GDP for our national debt. IF the SS debt were actually used instead of hidden as it is, our debt would be closer to 72% of GDP. But it is more than one arm of the government owing the other arm. It is one arm of the government owing a commitment to the people who paid those revenues to hold that money in trust until it is needed to help pay SS obligations. Well, that took place this year. As of now, each month SS checks go out, some of it is coming from the SS trust fund, because monthly SS revenues no longer cover the obligations. As such, the 4+ trillion dollar debt is a REAL debt to the people, and no longer an accounting gimmick.

But the real reason for the down grade is not so much current numbers, but the fact that the other nations have taken real steps in reducing their deficit spending, while our government sits around with their fingers up our collective nostrils wonder what the fuck is going on. The latest bill passed barely reduced the projected INCREASES in deficit spending, let alone actually reduce deficit spending. That difference was enough to let our economic allies know we have no intention of showing fiscal responsibility in the near future.

But the deck chairs were put away... new deck chairs were bought, actually... we elected a new man to the White House, one who said he would fix the mess, and take care of the problems. One who had the solution and answer for the mess left by the last administration... you see, that's why he was elected, to FIX the mess! But here we are, three years in, with new deck chairs, and the ship is still sinking....and our newly-elected captain, thinks pointing the finger at the last captain, is a "plan!"

You had managed, under his leadership, to claw back some of the respect that bush had squandered. How about if you fracking liberal morons give the "Republicans never gave Obama a chance" mantra a rest? Obama had a democratic majority in both houses of congress for his first two years, and in that time he was barely able to pass a debt-laden legislative disaster - and had to bribe people from his own side to get that much. Obama had every chance in the world to get things done, and he wasted the first two years whining about the republicans, just as you are doing, until the people got TIRED of the democrats and their bullshit and put a bunch of new republicans in their place. Now you are all about how the Republicans are fucking things up? WHAT THE FUCK were the DEMOCRATS doing for the two years they had control? 1. I am not a Liberal. (That would be impossible).
2. Not quite sure who 'the people' are who are tired of the democrats.
3. The right wing has been unable to find a single person with the intelligence and credibility to lead them into the next election or to stand for policies and not spite.
4. My estimate of the foreign opinions of Obama are pretty accurate. (Do you know where 'Foreign' is? Or, like your previous 'president' do you think it is all 'over there' and mostly populated by 'tourists'? News: 'Foreign' will survive long after the bush memory has fossilised in the sediment at the bottom of the lake that was once your proud nation.
