The Turkish, Iranian, and Russian foreign ministers seen celebrating mirthfully after the US declaration of unconditional surrender in Syria by the traitorous Trump "administration"
Why do you liberals think you know more than the president?
That's why we never should have left Vietnam.
Why is that? Did they overtake our allies once we left?
Huh?You can't pull punches in the battle against socialism.
You can't pull punches in the battle against socialism.
Syria isn't socialist, doofus.
A question for all you brand new leftard hawks: What outcome did you foresee in Syria and what was your timeline if we would have stayed? Also, please favor us with your insight on Afghanistan and Iraq! Are we back to nation building? Oh boy!
Well, I have a lot of problems with pure democracy, and 5 bucks and all the "diversity" on the planet will get you a starbucks latte(almost forgot, YAY EQUALITY!). That being said, Kurdistan is the only regret I have concerning this. I ask again, timeline and general strategyRojava as a 'federated region' within Syria. Similar to 'Iraqi Kurdistan' in Iraq.
"Iraqi Kurdistan, officially called the Kurdistan Region of Iraq (Kurdish: هه*رێمی کوردستان, translit. Herêmî Kurdistan) by the Iraqi constitution,[8][9] is an autonomous region located in northern Iraq.[10] It is also referred to as Southern Kurdistan (Kurdish: باشووری کوردستان, translit. Başûrê Kurdistanê), as Kurds generally consider it to be one of the four parts of Greater Kurdistan, which also includes parts of southeastern Turkey (Northern Kurdistan), northern Syria (Rojava or Western Kurdistan), and northwestern Iran (Eastern Kurdistan).[11]"
"The region is officially governed by the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG), with the capital being Erbil. Kurdistan is a parliamentary democracy with its own regional Parliament that consists of 111 seats.[12] Masoud Barzani, who was initially elected as president in 2005, was re-elected in 2009. In August 2013 the parliament extended his presidency for another two years. His presidency concluded on 19 August 2015 after the political parties failed to reach an agreement over extending his term."

it's a non sequitur as well..it makes no senseThis must be one of the most stupid comments from Doris ever!
Well, I have a lot of problems with pure democracy, and 5 bucks and all the "diversity" on the planet will get you a starbucks latte(almost forgot, YAY EQUALITY!). That being said, Kurdistan is the only regret I have concerning this. I ask again, timeline and general strategy
KSA and Iran are regional power players. The Kurds are not.As it is right now, the SDF controls Syrian lands east of the Euphrates. They're the ones, along with the US allies, that defeated ISIS in that area. They want to be a part of Syria. They want to be an autonomous region like 'Iraqi Kurdistan' in Iraq. all that needs to be done is to write that in the Greater Syrian Constitution guaranteeing this arrangement.
This is a CRITICAL moment.
Instead of the US standing by our Partners, we have stabbed them in the back and left them to be:
1. Slaughtered by Turkey.
2. Subjugated by Assad, the Russians, and Iran.
The timing of the US pullout could not be worse.
The 'timeline' is when Assad acknowledges the autonomous region of Rojava.
The 'strategy' is American support for the people that did the dying in ridding northeast Syria of ISIS.
"The Syrian Democratic Forces (Arabic: قوات سوريا الديمقراطية, translit. Quwwāt Sūriyā al-Dīmuqrāṭīya, Kurdish: Hêzên Sûriya Demokratîk, Classical Syriac: ܚܝ̈ܠܘܬܐ ܕܣܘܪܝܐ ܕܝܡܩܪܛܝܬܐ, translit. Ḥaylawotho d'Suriya Demoqraṭoyto), commonly abbreviated as SDF, HSD or QSD, is an alliance of Kurdish, Arab and Assyrian/Syriac militias, as well as some smaller Turkmen and Chechen participation[104] in the Syrian Civil War.[105] The SDF is militarily led by the People's Protection Units (YPG), a mostly Kurdish militia.[106] Founded in October 2015, the SDF states its mission as fighting to create a secular, democratic and federal Syria.[citation needed] The updated December 2016 constitution of the Democratic Federation of Northern Syria names the SDF as its official defence force.[107]"
"The primary opponents of the SDF are the various Islamist and Arab nationalist rebel groups involved in the civil war, in particular the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), Turkey-backed Syrian opposition groups, al-Qaeda affiliates, and their allies. The SDF has focused primarily on ISIL,[108] successfully driving them from important strategic areas, such as Al-Hawl, Shaddadi, Tishrin Dam, Manbij, al-Tabqah, Tabqa Dam, Baath Dam, and ISIL's former capital of Raqqa.[109][110][111][112][113][114]"

These guys are secular, democratic, and progressive.
You can throw these guys under the bus and pick between the fucked up Saudis to back, or you can pick the fucked up Iranians to back. Seems to me ... this is a pretty easy choice here.
