Russian casualties now exceed 200k

Russia and Putin are in serious shit.

Russia's economy is 'in the shit' and Putin 'has decided to settle down there' says former Moscow finance minister, saying Western sanctions will cause a financial crisis next year

How often can you get fed the line by power and the experts "Sure maybe it has not worked at all like we said it would, but success is just around the corner, trust us!" and you buy the hokum?

Dont you get embarrassed to be played for a chump?

You are another one who has no idea of what is going on in Ukraine and in this larger war war between China and America, one that America is sure to lose.

Yes well it's you that needs to learn what's really going on.

Russia has 9000 tanks, how many drones does Ukraine have again?
First, I’m surprised you believe Putin is stupid enough to put every tank he has into Ukraine.

Second, I’m not surprised you don’t understand the cost imbalance between a Russian tank and crew vs. a Ukrainian kamikaze drone.

Lastly, the West is sending Ukraine as many low cost/high lethality weapons as possible.

Many of them are T-72 or even T-62 vintage, they are next to useless in modern warfare against tank killers.

Russian army has lost up to half of key battle tanks, analysts estimate

Experts say Moscow has large number of cold-war era models in storage so can continue war in Ukraine for some time

Russia’s army is estimated to have lost nearly 40% of its prewar fleet of tanks after nine months of fighting in Ukraine, according to a count by the specialist thinktank the International Institute of Strategic Studies (IISS).

That rises to as much as 50% for some of the key tanks used in combat, forcing Russia to reach into its still sizeable cold war-era stocks. Ukraine’s tank numbers are estimated to have increased because of the number it has captured and supplies of Soviet-era tanks from its western allies.

John Chipman, the thinktank’s chair, said the war had been “a political and military failure for Russia” highlighting shortcomings in leadership and deficiencies in its munitions, despite Kremlin modernisation efforts.

“Russia’s actions over the past year have raised questions not only over the competence of its military and senior military leadership, but also over command cohesion,” he said, launching the IISS’s annual Military Balance audit of the world’s armed forces.

The thinktank’s figures are based largely on open source images from drones, satellites and on the battlefield, running from the beginning of the war to the end of November, although the conflict means numbers can only be estimated.

Just as devastating is the hundreds of thousands of young men who fled Russia in protest or out of fear of being sent to die for Putin's lies.

I wouldn't say my Russian acquaintances are a representative cross section, but every male of military age left Russia to live abroad since the invasion

Provide a link from a reputable website that Russia currently in the year 2023 has 9000 functioning tanks, and don't include T-34s from WW2, or rusting Cold War vintage hulks sitting in storage

Well if I didn’t include them then it wouldn’t be 9000

However, let a shell from a T-34 hit you in the chest and see what happens

Both Putin and this war have overwhelming support from the Russian people.

The support from a 80 year old babushka with framed pictures of Stalin in her apartment is irrelevant. The support of young men willing and eager to fight and die in the sovereign nation of Ukraine is what determines the trajectory of Putin's War

He pulled the 9000 tanks number out of his ass, and admits he's even including T-34 museum pieces in that number.

Better to put a LAW or kamikaze drone on it and leave another roadside warning to all Russian invaders.

Ha! I love seeing these videos of the inept, incompetent, Putin's Cannon-fodder Russian troops getting cooked.

It makes my heart all warm and tingly.

I confess to enjoying seeing the demise of the former Soviet Army. Still, it's a shock to see how badly Putin and his cronies gutted their own army and keep sending it to be slaughtered in Ukraine.
