Russian ATTY, Trump Tower mtg, charged, MONEYLAUNDER'G to buy NYC real estate

She had deep ties to Putin and the oligarchs. Apparently she laundered money for the purposes of buying high end real estate in NYC. Anyone think some of them might be Trump properties? Nahhh...

(You believe she met with TRUMP JR to discuss ADOPTIONS, right?)

I still find it bewildering that many a Trumpkin will still tell anyone that listens that that Trump Tower meeting actually did deal with adoptions.

The new Democrat memo also revealed that the FBI never paid Steele for the dossier, as the prior Republican memo had previously implied.

The Russian lawyer ‘just happened’ to be associated with Glenn Simpson of Fusion GPS—the same outfit that was shopping the Dossier and the Russian collusion conspiracy theory.

What an odd coincidence.

Steele didn't work for the FBI.

FBI releases documents showing payments to Trump dossier author Steele

The FBI has released 71 pages of what it describes as correspondence between the bureau and Christopher Steele, the former British spy who authored a dossier alleging collusion between the 2016 Trump campaign and Russia.

The records show FBI payments to Steele as a Confidential Human Source (CHS). They also show that Steele told the FBI he had informed a third party he was acting as a CHS for the bureau, and that the FBI determined Steele had been a source for an online article.

On Nov. 1, 2016, according to the documents, the FBI told Steele it was unlikely to continue working with him.

She's a convicted fraudster, lol.

Just point and laugh.

Poor crazy krudzu. :rofl2:

The Russian lawyer ‘just happened’ to be associated with Glenn Simpson of Fusion GPS—the same outfit that was shopping the Dossier and the Russian collusion conspiracy theory.

What an odd coincidence.

Former FBI lawyer Lisa Page told Congress this past summer that in May 2017 — seven months after the FISA warrant was issued, and nine months after the Russia probe was started — the FBI had not corroborated the main allegation in Steele’s dossier about collusion between Moscow and the Trump.

And former FBI Director James Comey testified in June 2017 that the dossier was considered unverified and salacious.

Yet it was used as evidence to justify the FBI spying on the campaign of a duly-elected GOP presidential nominee’s campaign, even though it started as political opposition research paid for by the Democratic Party and Hillary Clinton’s campaign.

Even Steele’s former boss, Fusion GPS founder Glenn Simpson, expressed uncertainty about some of the Russia intelligence Steele was providing.

During a December 2016 meeting, Associate Deputy Attorney General Bruce Ohr recorded Simpson in written notes as saying that some people believed one of the allegations of collusion “but others disagree.”

More importantly, Simpson told Ohr that Steele’s main source wasn’t in Moscow but, rather, was a former Russian intelligence figure in Washington, the notes show.

“Much of the collection about the Trump campaign ties to Russia comes from a former Russian intelligence officer (? not entirely clear) who lives in the US,” Ohr wrote in his notes, quoting Simpson.

In other words, Steele’s intelligence was hearsay collected a continent away from Moscow.

The various expressions of uncertainty about the reliability of Steele’s hearsay Russia intelligence give investigators solid reason to question if the FBI did its job in vetting his Russia expertise.

After all, helping the FBI crack a sports corruption case, as Steele did earlier in his relationship with the bureau, is a far cry from the skills and sourcing needed to unmask the true intentions of a sophisticated Russian counterintelligence operation.

Poor crazy krudzu, the convicted fraudster.

I appreciate the 'spinning off' into different jurisdictions. That's a good strategy.
My point being, I hope this doesn't have the appearance of 'Natalia' telling the Mueller Team 'what they want to hear' in return for a sweet plea agreement.

From all that I hear and understand, NO ONE PIECE of TESTIMONY doesn't have 'redundacies'! It's been an education listening to all the NUMEROUS prosecutors, fed attorneys, judges, talking heads talking about these investigations are carried. There are LAYERS of evidence. I don't this Russian will pull any wool over anyone's eyes.

Steele didn't work for the FBI.

He worked 'with' BRITISH INTEL for 30ish years and was known to the FBI as a straight shooter which is why when JOHN MC CAIN was delivered the DOSSIER and he took it the FBI, they took it seriously.

(And you and I will never know if they "worked together").

The facts say otherwise, fraudster.

Fusion GPS subcontracted Steele's firm to compile the dossier.
