That's odd, since the Electoral College system has been in operation for a long time and was accepted as legitimate by every presidential and vice-presidential candidate who ran under it.

It only seems to have become an issue after DEMOCRATS lost to Trump.

It has been in operation since the beginning of the republic, dumbshit. It's just not necessarily representative of the will of the people.

And no, idiot. It was an issue in 2000. But it's become more an issue since two of the last three Presidents have been decided despite the will of the people.

Like I said, it's been in operation a long time, and I don't recall any controversy about the Electoral College in 2000.

Your notions of the will of the people are irrelevant, since they aren't enshrined in our Constitution.

You have three choices, the way I see it:

1. Campaign to amend the Constitution. If you succeed, you'll need to prepare yourself for a day when the popular vote trumps your preferred candidate.
2. Leave the United States of America and find a nation whose electoral practices align with your feelings. You'll need to apply for a visa, gain citizenship, and hope their laws don't preclude the enfranchisement of naturalized citizens - if you are accepted.
3. Do nothing but whine like a spoiled child who didn't get the treat that Mommy Hillary promised you.

I think I know which door you'll pick. :rofl2:

The popular vote is a reflection of the sentiments of the population. Not the electoral college. The results of 2000 and 2026 prove that.
