its not really an issue because qatar will cave to the saudis. If push comes to shove qatars army is so small that they could invade while taking the extra effort to go around the airbase.
This is all about reforming sunni regimes that are friendly to Iran.
If qatar suddenly says they are calling of the natural gas project then iran is screwed.
