Rove; Trump unfit for the Office

I gave you a lot of reasons.

You just don't want to hear them. But stop saying I "fell for Republican lies." Enough of that. Hillary was a bad candidate. Many prominent Dems agree w/ that.

I addressed them

they are bullshit

You didn't address anything.

Just the same clichés & generalizations. She had no new ideas, no real plan. And this election was a softball. Trump was a terrible candidate. Even w/ all of her baggage & the investigation, she should have won the electoral EASILY - all she needed was a coherent message, and she needed to stay on it. I listened to her talk dozens of times, and I still have absolutely no idea what her plan was for jobs. None.

Liberals have hit rock bottom when they start caring about what Karl Rove says

Republicans have hit rock bottom when they don't care what Karl Rove says.

That is the point.

He kept Bush the lesser looking like a sentient human being for nearly a decade. But he throws up his hands when faced with this self destructive orange clown who has doomed his party...

but it seems NEW is all you care about

I have to agree with you, not so much about Thing1 personally, but people who backed both Sanders and Trump in general.

They got so stuck on this notion of "NEW IDEAS!!!!", that they completely ignored the fact that just because an idea is new, doesn't make it good, and just because an idea is old, doesn't make it bad.

The obsession with "new ideas" that was so pervasive in 2016, is what gave us Trump. It got fewer people to vote for Hillary and got more people to vote for Trump.

They're two of a kind. Rove recognizes a kindred spirit but he's trying to polish up his own bad reputation with this.

I wonder how much of it stems from loyalty to the Bush family and paybacks for how badly Trump carved up JEB! during the primaries.

Kasich supported it too

you liked him

her message was there the media barely covered her speaches

they covered in full every trumpy one

its a LIE to say she had no message

President Obama didn't support the war............just saying.

Does that include "hope and change"??

Kasich didn't vote for the war - and he's an honest person, who was honest about his support. He didn't try to toe some line to appease his constituency and try to show he was "tough" as well. And he would have been a good President, though I disagree w/ him on many issues.

Hillary had zero message. I watched her speeches. When she talked policy, it was standard boilerplate rhetoric. She had no new ideas for jobs or the economy, for the environment, for foreign policy. She was an empty suite, and she tried to run on Trump's negatives & run out the clock. It was one of the most pathetic campaigns I have seen - and MANY on the left and in the party agree with that.

I don't know who "many on the left" are, but most people I know on the left saw dump much worse. Only the right wing and the media thought she was that bad.

One thing she did do was own up to her mistakes, dump didn't even acknowledge he made any.

That was me. sanders and then Trump.
If it would have been Trump vs.sanders I really am not sure where I would have gone.

I liked sanders for his idea that income inequality is major problem in this country and world ( 1%'rs)
also Single Pay.
But sanders was basically a pacifist -unwilling to do anything on foreign policy without a "coalition"
America has to lead -like it or not.

Trump is against regime change - fantastic after Bush/Obama- America First is a superior idea also.

Clinton was a globalist & interventionist stuck with big donor ties, who had no ideas and unlike both sanders and Trump supported the TPP ( Kasich is also a big supporter of the TPP)..

Of all the candidates Trump has the best ideas summed up as "America first/MAGA" -
not globalism of Sanders and Clinton..

Now if Trump can grow up/man up and kill the idiotic tweeting and grow into the presidency we might take pre-eminent leadership in the 21st century despite the Democratic "resistance" to doing so.
