They are very trying, like a sampler.
At least you acknowledge that you cherry-pick the polls that you post instead of the earlier horseshit about it being the "latest" poll. I knew that's what you were doing and you knew that's what you were doing, but you just had to pretend that it was merely a coincidence that you didn't post the earlier stuff.
And me, I haven't posted any polls on this race near as I remember except for this one. And even then it was only because I knew you were planning on posting the "latest poll" out of Washington and I wanted to lessen your burden what with these trying times and all.
Colorado, Tancredo has gained in the polls EVERY single time October 14 Rassmussen has him at 38 to Hickenlooper's (really? Hickenlooper?) 42. Why Maes does not just drop out is beyond me. The enemy of my enemy is my friend in this case. Tancredo has to have more in common with Maes than does Hickenlooper. If a Hickenlooper wins I think that should invalidate Colorado's statehood. Back to territory status with you!
The GOP is asking their guy to consider backing out. Considering that they ran two unelectable candidates in their primary, its the smartest idea they've considered, and that's after knowing that the establishment hates Tancredo (because he's a menace).
Maes has become, and seems to be relishing the role of, a spoiler. The other day he practically endorsed Hick and his economic "policy". He isn't dropping out, because he is all about Dan Maes (he even speaks of himself in the third person, "Dan Maes won the state assembly, then what did Dan Maes do?" <-actual excerpt from a Dan Maes speech).Colorado, Tancredo has gained in the polls EVERY single time October 14 Rassmussen has him at 38 to Hickenlooper's (really? If Tancredo wins Colorado should be nuked out of existence to show the animals what we do to animals who willingly embrace the forces of darkness. Hickenlooper is the greatest American. There shouldn't be an election. He should be appointed Duke of Colorado, for life.
Given enough time and he would. The question is whether or not he has enough time. Each poll shows him gaining on Hick, it's possible...I would love for Maes to drop out, but he won't... and I don't think Tancredo will be able to pull enough support to win.
One thing I don't think anyone is factoring in on these closer races, voter enthusiasm. The GOP is clearly much more energized with the TEA Party than disillusioned Democrats this election cycle. The polls are a very poor indicator of actual voter turnout. While a poll of "likely voters" may very well show a tie, it will be the GOP voters who actually show up and vote. I think this will make all the difference in the world this go around. The 'swing' voters are also trending Republican, in almost every poll across the board. In my opinion, this thing has the potential to get really ugly for the Dems, regardless of what the polls say in any race.
Oblama et al are factoring it; that's why we get to have them all campaigning here this month.
Rossi made a great point yesterday when asked about the DC visits for Murray, he said {paraphrase} "It's a two edged sword as it reminds people that Murray is a DC insider".
The fact of the matter is that Rossi has his work cut out for him, but as you noted he has the enthusiasm vote. WA state on the west side of the Cascades is a democrat stronghold with Seattle being the crown jewel of progressive nannyism...so we shall see.
