Barr fucked up. Those who deny the appearance of racism in her Tweet are deluding themselves. Whether she intended it or not, no reasonable person can truthfully say that such a comparison is not regarded as racist by many people. She should have known better, and ABC had the right to cancel her series, for any reason they chose.

I think cancellation was overkill. But it's not my call. Yes it was racist,but she did apologize

No matter. My objection is treating her like some pariah from the Cultural Revolution,
where they want to ban her life's works.

He had no part in Barr's stupidity.

I wouldn't read too much into his facial expression or body language, dear Brother.

Mr. Goodman may simply be annoyed at being the target of paparazzi while he waits for Fido to take a shit. He made no statement to TMZ, as far as I know.

I suspect that ABC was looking for an excuse. Her real "thought crime" was being a Trump supporter, IMO.

She gave ABC a chance to get rid of her and they took it, I think.
