Which is why DeSantis waited until Trump announced he was turning himself in. Five minutes after that happened..... FIVE MINUTES..... DeSantis made his post.

Article IV said:
Section. 2.

The Citizens of each State shall be entitled to all Privileges and Immunities of Citizens in the several States.

A Person charged in any State with Treason, Felony, or other Crime, who shall flee from Justice, and be found in another State, shall on Demand of the executive Authority of the State from which he fled, be delivered up, to be removed to the State having Jurisdiction of the Crime.

"Flee from justice" means you fail to present yourself to the court. trump has failed to present himself to court, so therefore he has fled justice.

The extreme right wing Supreme Court will do everything they can do for trump... But there is an outer limit. Finding that New York is no longer part of the USA would destroy the American economy, and would make them a laughing stock... Just so trump can payoff women? They cannot go that far.

New York left the Union a long time ago, dumbass. I call it the SOTNY now. It no longer recognizes the Constitution of the United States nor the Constitution of the State of New York. New York is currently an oligarchy.

The Supreme Court cannot compel a territory to join the Union.
