I belive the Republicans are most likely, at this time, to nominate Romney for president in 12'.

He proposed and promoted an health care insurance plan that is VERY simular to what the Democrats and President Obama are workign on now....

That would make for a very interesting election!
 
He would be dumb to do that now, he will need her support once he trounces her in the primary.
 
Anyone without the guts to admitt she is not ready for prime time gets no respect from me.

He's not gunning for your vote, Desh. Although I do believe that if he ran with a D next to his name against some liberal republican who believed everything you profess to believe you would vote for him in a heart beat and without thinking about it twice.

Oh, I dunno, Romney might think it would be too much a stress on his wife with her serious medical condition.

LOL... I was going to say does she respect any Republican? And unless Romney switches party's he's not getting her vote anyway so I don't think he's losing sleep over her not respecting him.

Well it's still a long way off but I don't see any other legitimate candidates. If they do nominate Romney it bodes well for the Republican party. It means the far right conservative faction has been put in it's proper place. A cupboard. I think Romney would make a find Presidential candidate. He's certainly well qualified.

I don't think he's looking for your vote. I think he's looking for people like me. He's the only Republican, right now, I'd consider voting for President.

He should have been the nominee in 08 but the party of primogeniture nominated McCain on the basis that southern white conservatives were very uncomfortable with a center right moderate and a Mormon like Romney. It was a big mistake by the Republicans.

Granted, I caucused for Paul, but I wanted McCain to get it to send a message to the party that it needed to shape up.

Now I am definitely in favor of running Romney.
