Diversity Makes Greatness
Hello Darth,
That question is stupider than Jupiter.
A cute little story comes to mind.
I stayed in a hotel. After I checked out and went on my way, I realized I had forgotten my phone charger. Knowing I was coming back that way I called the hotel and asked about it. The desk told me if any personal items were found they are kept at the front desk, but there was no recollection of a phone charger being turned in that day. Then, another comment was made. "We get a lot of those turned in. We have a box full of them. If one of them works for your phone you can have it."
When I got back to the hotel, I asked to see what they had. A box was brought out which was indeed full of phone chargers. But the cords had not been neatly bundled. The cords of many chargers were all tangled together like a huge ball of twine, in a giant knot, from which none could be easily separated. I had to go to a chair and table to begin to sort through the mass of black cords, plugs and adapters, pulling and tugging, looking for a bit of slack here and there, trying to get enough to allow even one of the devices to be freed from the grips of the tangle. The mass had obviously been turned over and over by many hands, all searching for one that would fit their phone, until it was a giant hopeless knot.
Your question strikes me as if someone had come up to me as I pondered the task ahead of me and asked: "Exactly how long is it going to take to sort out this mess and neatly bundle each charger with it's own rubber band?"
Obviously it is an unreasonable question because the time to complete the task cannot be known until it is completed. Any answer would be merely a guess.
I don't recall how long it took me, but eventually I was able to find a charger that did indeed fit my phone. I have no doubt that most people would look at that daunting mass and simply go buy another charger. It takes a determined mindset to persevere where others would not even try. I also did the good turn of leaving several of those chargers which did not fit my phone neatly bundled so that they would be easily accessible to the next searcher. I was never thanked for that by anyone. I figure random acts of kindness do come back to you. Must be true. I make a habit of random acts of kindness which are not immediately rewarded. I have a great life. Life is very good to me. I love my life. Maybe it's true what goes around comes around.
No changing the subject lol.
Btw, a lot of the same voices who saying the sky will fall over this we’re claiming all hell would break loose if Trump moved our embassy to Jerusalem—like his predecessors promised.
And, nothing happened.
So, 20 years, 30 hears? How many years is too many?
