Romney: My Economic Plan Will Help The Middle Class

Romney is just another Marxist. Steal from one, to give to another. Just another in your face, big government guy.

I bet he keeps a lot of the healthcare law if he's elected. And then act like we're all happy (with the help of FOX news, and many talk show hosts), and ignores the multitude who don't want it. As if our numbers are much smaller than they really are.

I disagree. I believe the man will be honest enough to at least attempt a repeal on Obamacare, and give this country all those jobs he promises.

I'm sure he would be better than what we have now, but he has people like Karl Rove, and a bunch of Bush people helping him. What a nightmare. As soon as the healthcare issue is over, it'll be business as usual. Less liberty, more laws, and a bunch more prison stocks going up.

Republican voters should come to realize some of the reasons why so many people hate the republican party.

They're very good reasons. It's much more than doing the opposite of what they say.

Are you retarded? Why would he repeal a law he wrote? Especially since his company Bain has over 40 billion invested in health insurance companies?

Furthermore, name one honest thing Mitt has ever said. Just one.

The GOP has been doing the same supply side bullshit since Reagan. In that time, when adjusted for inflation, there has been no growth in US median household incomes. That number is deceptive as in 1980 most households had a single earner. Now it takes two incomes to maintain the same median income in 2012 as one person did in 1980. That means the GOP supply side economic policies, which Mitt would continue, have been an absolute and complete failure for the vast majority of Americans. Mitts policies not only will not help the middle class but will in fact exacerbate the existing income inequality that is damaging our nation.

Word.

I'd like to see one example of Mitt's "honesty".

He didn't buy that Etch A Sketch to draw pretty pictures, ya know...

Romney has made millions shipping jobs overseas. Now you think he has a plan to bring them back? He has shown disdain for the middle class, just like the rest of the pack has. They are bought & paid for.

Republicans picked the wrong time to run a businessman. There's a lot of hyperbole going around. Mitt's not going to endenture the middle class and Obama is not going to declare this the Socialist States of America. We have two parties with competing visions and two men with competing visions. At least there should be. I have no idea what Romney's vision is? I never had that problem with Reagan, Clinton, W and Obama. Agree or disagree I understood what their vision was. What they stood for. Romney is kind of amourphous. He's a patrician climbing the cursus honorum doing and saying what he needs too to get the job. I don't doubt that if Romney gets elected that he will do a competant job. I don't have the fears of his being a fuck up like I did with W.

I just don't think he's going to get elected. Not unless something significant happens. It's going to take more than a bad job reports or two. The interesting contradiction about this election is people are unhappy with how the current administration is managing the economy. Having said that, the majority of Americans blame Republicans for getting us into this mess and being ubstructionist in congress. It's not a good time to be a politician right now.
