I don’t blame you for running from my question.
If Trump can effectively demonstrate that the Mueller investigation is compromised, then he would be justified in ending it. Then impeachment would be politically problematic. As for the coming indictments, if they are no better than the last ones, Mueller’s investigation will go nowhere.
I don’t blame you for not defending Weissmann. Or Mueller, for picking him.

Mueller enjoyed an outstanding career as FBI director and also enjoyed smooth sailing as special prosecutor. Now that he is getting very close to the top, you want him removed from office. Its so obvious what you are trying to do, it just wont work.
No one will ever believe that this investigation is compromised!
Can you read lol?
What do your eyes tell you about my Weissmann post? Why would Mueller pick him?
Answer the question.
no discretion. He's obviously going way past any ties to collusion.Mueller's prosecutorial discretion looms over the Trump presidency.
On what terms would Mueller offer immunity from prosecution to investigative targets? How broadly will he interpret his mandate to look into not only the 2016 campaign but also matters that "may arise directly from the investigation"?
Will he target Trump's sprawling family business and financial empire and the years before the developer ran for the White House?
Like him or not, Weissman is just one of many people working for Mueller
no discretion. He's obviously going way past any ties to collusion.
It's the very worst aspects of SC -and Mueller is a poster child for them all
That was kind of weak lol.
There’s scores of prosecutors Mueller could have picked. Why Weissmann?
"and matters related".. do you think he will show any discretion to limit himself to his charter? ( no).Is Muellers mandate to only investigate collusion?

Prosecutors are supposed to be more then mindless attack dogs-you know the phrase " a grand jury can indict a ham sandwich?". Good prosecutors don't overcharge.
By all accounts Mueller never limits anything
Can't see the OP. But your description is apt. All of trump's policies directly affect him negatively, but he still waves the orange pom poms.Annatta is a Trumptard
You don't get "prosecutorial discretion"..read the OP.You need to read again the letter from Rosenstein appointing Mr. Mueller and the scope of his appointment

You don't get "prosecutorial discretion"..read the OP.
Yes it goes to matter related, the question is will Mueller stick to that charge?.
every indication is he will not.
now you are reduced to individual attacks, instead of addressing topics. You should at least read an OP when commenting on a threadCan't see the OP. But your description is apt. All of trump's policies directly affect him negatively, but he still waves the orange pom poms.
his history, read the OP.What indication are you referring to?
However, Pacific Standard Magazine disagrees that the Enron prosecution was a bust and, in fact, argues that it could provide a template for Mueller now. “The Enron team was patient and learned from its investigative and trial mistakes. After its yearslong run, it set a high-water mark for complex, high-profile financial inquiries, successfully indicting and imprisoning almost all of the company’s top executives,” the magazine reported. “Early on, the Enron team also won a jury conviction of the Arthur Andersen accounting firm, Enron’s auditor, on an obstruction-of-justice charge. That experience could prove valuable as the Russia team investigates.”Andrew Weissmann:
“Not everyone is a Weissmann fan. Sidney Powell, a federal prosecutor who is past president of the American Academy of Appellate Lawyers, wrote an opinion piece in the Hill that said, in part, that Weissmann “is not just a ‘tough’ prosecutor. Time after time, courts have reversed Weissmann’s most touted ‘victories’ for his tactics. This is hardly the stuff of a hero in the law. Weissmann, as deputy and later director of the Enron Task Force, destroyed the venerable accounting firm of Arthur Andersen LLP and its 85,000 jobs worldwide — only to be reversed several years later by a unanimous Supreme Court.”

____________
His ‘best’ indictments are overturned ‘time and again’ by the courts. And his Enron work, which put 85,000 people out of work and threw some into jail—-was unanimously, overturned by SCOTUS.
Unanimously, overturned by SCOTUS. That’s actually sort of an accomplishment for a federal prosecutor.
He should be embarrassed to show his face in a courtroom as a prosecutor. But the really interesting question is why Mueller would bring on such a sketchy character. He couldn’t find somewhere better? Less interested in justice than in getting Trump?
What do you think?
And so the #KillTheMessenger campaign commences.
