your naivete would be charming, if it wasn't so dangerous. WHEN has government EVER given back power that it took from the people? or that the people willingly gave them?

He has shown zero urge to even get close to doing any of that. You say the "reps" won't do it, but it was Obama who strengthened each of the policies and now we know that his Executive branch is using it more often, etc. It seems to fly in the face of reality to suggest that this President would ever think of giving a bit of that power back, he stepped right in and was comfortable using it, even arguing that you as a citizen can't sue if they are used against you.

I don't get where you have any indication that this President would even slightly want to do that. It seems to be fantasy based on what you want to believe rather than what he has actually done.

he would have to take on both the fbi and the reps

whether he has any inclination to do so remains to be seen, so i can hope maybe?
