RIP Pete Rose

Baseball legend Pete Rose dies at the age of 83

I liked the Reds simply for their 1975 lineup.

Johnny Bench ----- Pete Rose
Tony Perez -------- Ken Griffey
Joe Morgan ------- Cesar Geronimo
David Concepcion - George Foster

Back in the 1960s, my dad owned a tavern on the south side of Chicago. Every year the White Sox and Red Sox would stop in for a night of meet-and-greet. I don't know who paid for the booze but it was my job to clean up the next day.

OMG....you know I was forged in Rockford right?

Have you seen it in the last 20 years?

Talk about your dystopias!
I stopped for lunch in 2008 when things were already looking bad. One of my buds is from Rockford and the perfect example of what's wrong with America. Hard working people don't know how to deal with being kicked to the curb.

Too ignorant to know that they were kicked overboard decades ago, even after Carlin warned them repeatedly they never could smell the coffee.

We are talking about the Modern Morons...some of the most stupid fucks to ever walk this planet.

Now the payment for being stupid comes due.

They have no idea.

Joe Morgan had the weirdest timing mechanism in baseball.
