RIP GOP? Experts say trump will be a force of party chaos & division long after

Nothing can be more moronic than watching ignorant liberals predict the demise of the GOP. What we are seeing is a cleansing of sorts. The unfortunate side effect will possibly be losing the congress once again.....but if it rids us of the professional politicians who still stupidly think the DNC isn't trying to destroy them, then GOOD!

A Trump victory in November will send a message to BOTH parties that Americans are fed up with the status quo and the trillions in deficit spending of which the bill will be placed on we, the sheeple. It is time for Americans to wake up and stop pretending that compromise equates to higher tax bills to the rest of us.

A Fair Tax, term limits, a ban on all Federal subsidies and abolishing five Federal Departments will go a long way towards getting back the country.

As to the premise of this thread:

the stupid is all that is left in this one

I think he is correct, it keeps going~that anger isn't going to dissipate regardless of who wins or loses....

I predict a repeat of 2008. Hillary wins, followed buy the GOP winning bigger majorities in the house in senate. Back to dysfunctional govt.

Hillary has made no move to moderate or move to the center to prevent this from happening.

Populism is a very difficult lift. You need LOTS of incredibly stupid people to buy-in to it. Then you need them to outnumber more intelligent voters, or for the latter group to have low turnout. Last, you generally need some douchy demagogue like Andrew Jackson or Donald Trump to take the helm, and ride the wave of retardation through the finish line.

As does socialism.

not reality

Let's call it what it is, it's non college educated whites who are largely the most mad in the context of which you speak. And that by itself isn't enough to start a revolution. Unless these whites are going to join with blacks and Hispanics to form a new movement but do we really see that happening?

If you call it what it is, it might be college indoctrinated rather than educated.....please don't confuse educated with intelligent, they aren't the same....
imo, common sense is more important than both.....
and it won't be whites joining blacks or Latinos, it will be blacks and Latinos joining the pissed off whites, or should I say 'disenchanted' whites.....
Like it or not....the minorities have been bought and paid for by the left, and thats a hard thing to overcome....
The 'movement' is in its infancy and will die there if Hillary is elected...she will appoint 2,3 or maybe 4 to the SC and that will cement the socialist power in Washington
for the foreseeable future, generations.....the country we seen now will be unrecognizable when the dust clears.....again, imo.
That said, I think we can predict the future if Hillary wins but certainly not predict it if Trump wins.....Trump's gov. could be grid lock more than ever before.....

Would any Congress work with him ?....Could he really put a leak in the waterbed the elite have made for themselves in DC ?....the fat cats in DC get paid big bucks, ridiculous perks, and super pensions for themselves and live in another world than the rest of us....

Again, imo, a Trump election might upset that apple-cart, a Hillary election will guarantee more of the same, and that means more for them, less for us..... you know where you stand with Hillary and thats under her heels.....

If I have a choice of a snakebite by one of two snakes, a Queen Cobra or an unknown specie....I'll chance the unknown....

The GOP already made sure they would not win the house or senate by going against Trump.

I wrote about this before in an article called "trump saves the downticket"

THere are two main factions in the gop now the trumpian one and the regular gop ( i called them the cruz faction in the article)

Trump fans are not particularly fond of the GOP and realize its a marraige of convenience. If their vote buys the gop support then so be it. They dont particularly care for democrats as well anyway viewing them as part of the same "establishment". While "cruz" fans may not vote for Trump but they will vote downticket no matter what because they are commited republicans.

What the GOP did in all its brilliance is take the faction in its party which already likes them the least and gives them incentive to screw them over by voting for the democrat.

Remember if you view both people as part of the same republicrat uniparty then you dont really care which one you vote for.

All the GOP had to do was keep quietly backing trump and focus on the down ballot races and they would have had both the trump and regulars voting for it which meant that they would keep both the house and gain the senate.

The GOP needs some chaos and divisiveness. It has become a party of Washington Insiders who cozy up to corporations and do their bidding to stay in office. In this respect they aren't really any different from the Democrat Party. Both of these archaic political machines seek to garner the votes of their members by keeping them ignorant and winding them up on issues that really don't matter. Meanwhile the national debt and endless wars abroad have become the third rail of politics. Nobody wants to talk about mind-blowing deficits and debt that will crush our children's financial futures. Nobody wants to talk about the bombs we are dropping on people or the wars we are fighting in Iraq, Afghanistan and Syria (by proxy); or the half a hundred wars we've been in for the last 30+ years. The warpigs keep getting richer, and so do the banks, and both parties are pretty much in collusion. Hillary is no different from John McCain or George W Bush when it comes right down to it. Bernie Sanders and Ron Paul and Donald Trump are the real representatives of ordinary people, so they must be marginalized, silenced and crushed.

But crossdressing pedophiles now have access to little girl's bathrooms, so I guess there are still winners.

It's actually kind of short sighted to predict the demise of the GOP if Hillary wins. Hillary is totally capable of screwing things up so bad it will be a cold day in hell before people put another democrat in the WH.

That could be true........

Manipulate all the factions to unite against her & destroy everything she does... Of course that will fuckUP the whole country/world, but I guess it will be for a good cause..

Hopefully they have some other plan than this.............

But its not actually so unwanted, even by a lot of Conservatives.....its more obvious than even that they are just about as corrupt as the Democrats.....

Election cycles are like an eternity - so much can happen between this one & the next. I doubt it's the end of the party, or anything close to it.

But, Trump certainly has created some temporary chaos. He has actually made me feel bad for Paul Ryan, which is hard to do.

Aside from SCOTUS, true conservatives should really want Trump to lose. He'll do a lot more damage to the GOP as President. As just a candidate & temporary fling, he really can't do too much outside of this election cycle.

Not long ago he ran as an outsider/tea baggyish........... Now he is considered a rino for not supporting the usurper............

The Republicans were having trouble unifying and rallying behind GOP nominee Donald Trump during the primaries, and many are jumping ship just weeks before the Election. At this point, it’s unclear what the future of the party will look like after November 8.

Can the Republican party as we know it survive after the Election? Experts suggest the GOP is seeing an “unprecedented level of disunity and chaos,” according to ABC News.

No, conservatism and conservative values will never die. The party will never give up its free-market, anti-abortion, evangelical, American exceptionalist ideals. But with Trump, some supporters are moving beyond the party.

There has been a growing divide between the traditional Republican establishment and those who align with the aforementioned principles, and those who openly identify with Trump’s violent anti-establishment, white nationalist, misogynistic alt-right movement.

The followers of Trump extremism — which perpetuates and legitimizes a narrative of white genocide and white supremacy through its anti-immigrant, anti-black, anti-Muslim, and pro-policing rhetoric — extend beyond the Republican party’s Reagan era.
