Isn't the logic nowadays "If you pull a gun then I can shoot you"? Do you agree anyone innocently walking along the sidewalk could have righteously emptied a pistol magazine into Patricia McCloskey?

I would be much less surprised to see cops face punishment for the Blake shooting, since there is an argument for excessive force, even though he was resisting and going for a weapon.

Obviously, there is a reason why the GJ did not indict in the Taylor case. The one officer charged for endangerment appears to require training, since he fired (three counts would seem like three shots) in the wrong direction from where the shots were coming from.

Seven from what I read. All in the back. The video is pretty clear about that but I'm content to wait for the trial. Without the video, the police officer could have gotten away with it like they did with Breonna Taylor.

Oops, I meant to ask how many shots should have been fired. I am in agreement that seven is too many, but, cops are trained to fire more than once. People would still be complaining over 2-3 shots.

The Lexington cops got away with nothing, because there was nothing to get away with.

The rules for cops are the same as they are for you and me: Until the threat is no longer a threat.

Blake was no longer a threat when he collapsed on the third shot. Watch the video. Bang-bang-bang, slight pause, bang-bang, bang-bang. The last four are the ones that look the worst. Watch Blake's legs collapse behind the car door after the first three shots.

If Breonna was your wife, mother or sister, I doubt you'd feel the same way.
