There are options, though not ideal, women use to use goat or cows milk if they could not nurse, before formula, while the shortage continues, this is a viable option. Babies on specialized formulas should contact their pediatricians for advice. Abbott is also willing to help those who have such a specialized need.

1) The border service is the one and only avenue that detained immigrants have for food. 2) There are approximately 3,000,000 babies in the U.S. at any given time, and these days a few hundred immigrant babies in the detention centers whose nourishment, by the estimation of nitwits like yourself, poses a threat of either abortion or starvation to the 3,000,000.

Yes, these moms will have to get creative but blaming President Biden is not a solution. Leave it to Republicans to politicize anything and everything. President Biden is working to solve the crisis, but I believe it was really caused by greedy doctors and the AMA over a long period. Natural birth has been made practically illegal, midwives have been kicked out, childbirth has been taken over as a giant profit-making industry.

We do birth all wrong in the USA from pre to post. It has been turned into a huge profit-making industry and it never had to be like that. Now we have a nation depended on formula and supply chains. That never even had to exist. Moms need to know they will have at least 12 weeks of paid time off for a birth. Europe has this. Europe does birth far better than the USA. And they understand the need and role of midwifery, too. No need for a high-priced top dollar surgeon to be doing low-risk births. What a waste of money. And it leads to far too many C Sections, too. A C-Section is major abdominal surgery which should be done only as a last resort, but now we have women getting sold on the idea and even planning on it. And the surgeons are all too happy to accommodate them. Nobody should go into major abdominal surgery if they don't need it. But insurance covers it and there's money to be made. who cares if baby is whisked away from mom because mom has to heal.

Women who have natural childbirth and who have enough time off from work to be a mom are more likely to breastfeed.

We do birth all wrong in the USA and this crisis is the result of it.

There is a formula shortage due to contamination in the largest baby formula plant yet the Biden FDA appears to be dragging its feet oking the plant reopening. So Ass face how do we take care of the babies?

The shortage comes after Abbott Nutrition, the nation’s largest baby formula manufacturer, closed its plant in Sturgis, Michigan, amid a recall due to contamination concerns.
Four infants who consumed products from the plant were hospitalized with bacterial infections. Two of the infants died.
