He had severe mental issues as does anyone who commits murder/suicide. This is regardless of all other factors. Self-destruction is often irrational except in a few circumstances such as a dying of a painful terminal disease or to restore one's honor and save the family. Murder/suicide is almost invariably cray-cray.

Notice that the MAGA morons only want to discuss tranny murders, not murders or murder/suicides in general. Weird.

While guns do, indeed, make both murder and suicide easier, notice that banning ARs would have a negligible effect on murders or suicides since half the murders in the US use a handgun. Suicides could use a mail-order flintlock since it only takes one shot to accomplish the task. Suicide by OD or alcohol and a necktie in a doorjamb would be easier, cheaper and less messy.

In short, banning guns isn't the solution. Better mental healthcare is a better solution.

They identified 5,743 deaths linked to murder-suicide occurrences during this period—an average of 820 deaths annually—including 3,125 homicides and 2,618 suicides. Most perpetrators were white males.
