A long term financial relationship with Russia, especially when Rump denied such, would be relevant evidence.

Russia has a history of developing a financial relationship with vulnerable American businessmen, not with any specific goal in mind, but then, after implicating them in crimes, using them to get things done that they need. Not saying Russia planned on having Rump run for president, but I can certainly see how they would have considered him an asset they were working over the years. They have been known to do that in other nations.

Rump has always had a reputation as a man easily manipulated by working his ego.

Regardless, if Rump committed crimes years before he ran for president, the American people should know.

Bill Clinton's relationships with Juanita Broderick (who recanted everytime she was under oath) and Paula Jones happened years before he became president, but the Ken Starr sure probed those issues.
