Let's ask again. If the administration didn't know as you assert, why did they blame the movie? Clinton did it. Rice did it. OWEbama did it at the UN.

Because the CIA did it, which we've known for a while now. The CIA's initial assessment of a spontaneous protest continued to appear in its PDB through September 22. You can question why the Obama Administration didn't push back on that assessment given conflicting information from the State Department, but there is no mystery why Obama Administration officials linked the attack to spontaneous protests given the CIA assessment:

WASHINGTON—President Barack Obama was told in his daily intelligence briefing for more than a week after the consulate siege in Benghazi that the assault grew out of a spontaneous protest, despite conflicting reports from witnesses and other sources that began to cast doubt on the accuracy of that assessment almost from the start.

New details about the contents of the President's Daily Brief, which haven't been reported previously, show that the Central Intelligence Agency didn't adjust the classified assessment until Sept. 22, fueling tensions between the administration and the agency.

As for the embassy attack... why are you running away from the question? Why did they continually blame the video? You say they didn't mention the claim because they didn't have all the facts, yet they ran around for weeks shouting it was all a spontaneous response to a video. Why did they do that desh?

It says protests. The initial reports were that the Benghazi attack grew out of protests that were inspired by protests in Cairo, which were about the video.
 
And robmoney rushed to say Obama was appologising to the terrorists.
