Restaurant That Booted Sanders Closes the Next Night lol

I met an Army colonel last Saturday that wanted to talk to me about fly fishing. He was into narrow streams and such. I told him what I tell everyone when that activity comes up- I am the world's worst fisherman. Those little bastards can hear me coming a mile away.

Doesn't matter if you can cast a fly. With some practice you learn to cast a fly around 50 ft. Plenty of distance where noise should be a factor. If you know someone with a pond loaded with pan fish that's a good place to learn, assuming there's not to many trees near the pond. You can learn how to get the line in the air and drop it onto your target without snapping the line. If you're in a stream with lots of foilage and trees around you I find a very long, 7' to 9' ultralight rod will get the job done without getting your line tangled up in vegetation.

If all else fails, dynamite works good.......

I have no party affiliation and I vote for the person, not the party. I don’t feel it necessary to belong to a party.

Ditto. I have never registered to belong to a political party. Don't even have a clue how to do that. That being said, most of my votes have been cast for (D) candidates.

We live a few miles from what is called a "world class trout fishing stream." Any time you want to come up and give me lessons we'll fire up the grill.

On the GoFundMe page for the Red Hen restaurant, they surpassed the $5000 goal, raised $6,010 well done!

I can cast, at least I could when I was a kid, either ocean, lure or fly. But fish can sense I'm there.

My BF growing was an awesome fisherman, and we started out pond fishing together when we used to ride bikes with coaster brakes. He's always catch several and I'd rarely catch one. After college we took a trip to VT and took a side trip on some little creek 4' wide. He caught a half dozen and I didn't get a single nibble.

It's not for me. "A man has to know his limitations. "

That Poor Fowl Red Hen is ancient history...couldn't happen to a nicer, more deserving establishment;)
Way to go, Steph!
