Morning Joe co-host Joe Scarborough has gone pretty easy on President-elect Donald Trump ever since his stunning election victory, but it seems even he isn’t amused by Trump’s repudiation of America’s intelligence agencies this past weekend.

Reacting to Trump’s dismissal of a reported CIA finding that the Russian government actively worked to help get him elected, Scarborough said that Trump was simply ensuring that this story will put a dark cloud over his administration for years to come.

“By attacking the CIA and claiming that nothing happened, and by claiming that it’s a dude in Jersey listening to Bon Jovi on his Walkman, I’m saying that all that does is it makes sure that this is around for two more years,” Scarborough said.

The Morning Joe co-host then said it was Republicans’ and Democrats’ patriotic duty to launch an investigation into Russian hacking to ensure the integrity of future elections.

“Republicans and Democrats alike need to get to the bottom of it,” he said. “They need to get to the bottom of it now, and any Republican that is standing in the way of this investigation is doing a disservice to not only their party but to their country. It’s not going away. There’s nothing that Donald Trump or Mitch McConnell or any republican can do about it. let’s get to the bottom of it as fast as possible.”
 
The FBI and the CIA are in disagreement about "Russian" hacking ..but lets gets serious here.
which country does not hack?

The reason the Russians (sic) got caught was because they released the Podesta Emails thru Wikileaks-
basically using Wiki as a Russian NGO.

It's like the old spy thing where "gentlemen do not read other person's mail" -while eavesdropping at ever quarter..

PS. did you notice McCain's hyper-ventilating about "Putin is a thug" ....priceless..now if only he would stroke out

What the hell was hacked anyway? Who paid any attention to it? Everyone knows if you look up scandal in the dictionary, you find a picture of Hillary Clinton, and her platform was garbage. And what are the odds that the incumbent party will threepeat especially if the economy sucks as bad as it does. I really liked Comey's sworn testimony in Congress best.....

The hacked DNC emails reveled nothing to me...I already knew the DNC was corrupt and in collusion with CNN and MSNBC and Sanders was being cheated out of the nomination.....but it was nice to have conformation anyway....

Indeed.....when any "hidden" truth is revealed for public consumption it often has a drastic negative effect toward the one's attempting to cover up that truth. If Barry Obama would have simply lived up to just one of his campaign promises...TRANSPARENCY, there could have been no effect whatsoever on the election.

Its priceless watching the show. Individuals like Snowden were the HEROES of the left....now that information has been revealed through Wikileaks concerning the duplicity of the left....these heroes are nothing but a tool of the Russkies. LMAO

My opinion? If the press would do their jobs in the first place instead of attempting to direct and choreograph a free election, there would be no opportunity for individuals like this.

That ain't happening, both Ryan and McConnell already said the respective Committees can handle the "investigation," meaning it will disappear relatively unheard of in a short matter of time.

If they were sincere, they'd appoint a bipartisan special Committee to really look into it, they just pissed away seven and half million dollars on Gowdy's sham that was nothing more than a redundancy of the prior eight "investigating" Committees that came before it. They don't care

So the lesson to be learnt here is, the likes of Podesta et al please note, use a robust password and change it regularly. It would also be advisable to use a firewall to filter out undesirables. Why are these people so stupid and arrogant, they are actually asking, nay begging, to be effing hacked.
