I got my letter back from Burr, dated November 16. He explained his position quite well. Franken was grandstanding and you Democrats fell for it.

Burr goes further: "Instead of protecting women, the poorly drafted Franken amendment would have had the broad effect nullifying current contracts. This would mean thousands of American employees would not be paid for duties they performed..."

You mean to tell me there's a REPUBLICAN Senator willing to put his career on the line by breaking from the herd and badmouthing a piece of legislation sponsored by a DEMOCRAT?

Actually, the letter explained his reasoning to vote against it very factually; totally unlike your little hissy attack on it, even though you haven't seen it.

You don't want to waste tax-payer money giving it to someone who advises fake prostitutes how to commit imaginary crimes, you want to give it to Halliburton because they're committing real gang rape."
