Republicans show no class!

Very impolite, must have thought he was in Parliament for a moment and not the US Congress.

A point of order, Madam Froggie.

The rules and conventions of the House of Commons clearly do not permit the use of such course and unparliamentary language as the word "liar". The Speaker of the House would require the accuser to withdraw it immediately or face expulsion from the chamber.

You, Madam, appear to hold a very dim view of our noble parliamentary traditions and i shall not have the good name of our House sullied in this heinous manner.

However, it has been known for some members of Her Majesty's opposition to take a shit in my despatch box.

If the president's proposal is not what he said it was, then expose the actual facts after the speech.

To have the Resident of the United States be shouted at and have US Senators yelling "Liar" is disrespectful and a show of a lack of class.

I am not defending the proposed plan. I am talking about simple respect for the office.

I can't believe I would ever hear a Democrat say "simple respect for the office" again....when this happened I thought it unfortunate....now that I see the Demos reaction I realize it's about time something occurred to demonstrate the hypocrisy of the left.....

Many Republicans exposed themselves for what they are tonight!

They've been exposing themselves since the election.

What a sorry state American politics is in.

One party is made up of loonies and crazies .. and the other party is full of wimps.

Oh Lawd ...

Repubs did show a lot of class. But it was all low!!!
This will hurt the white trash repubs in the mid terms, you don't yell liar at the Pres in Congress. This TRASH will be cleaned out.

Which members of Congress called Bush a liar? Name them.

First of all, I am not a democrat. Second of all, I am not defending any particular president or their administration. I was as quick as anyone to condemn Bush. I am just as quick to condemn Obama.

But there are acceptable ways to condemn them and unacceptable ways to condemn them.

Yelling "Liar" during a presidential speech to a joint session is an unacceptable way to do it.

They didn't do it in the hall during a Presidential address.
The trailor trash repub already apologized. He a wuss, big time.

/shrugs....I don't see much difference between doing it there or doing it on the national news....

MR. RUSSERT: When the president talked about Yucca Mountain and moving the nation's nuclear waste there, you were very, very, very strong in your words. You said, "President Bush is a liar. He betrayed Nevada and he betrayed the country."

Is that rhetoric appropriate?

SEN. REID: I don't know if that rhetoric is appropriate. That's how I feel, and that's how I felt.
