I am indeed avoiding arguing a position I have not taken, and do not wish to take, and I hate that for you guys, because I know you really wanted that to be the discussion here, and not the outright slanderous lie that is told in the title of the thread. Now that we have settled the fact that Republicans didn't run an ad urging Latinos not to vote, and it was actually a 'protest' being run by Latinos, I am satisfied. I can move on. Hope you guys can do the same, but if not, you have fun trashing and bashing me here. Less than 2 weeks... I can't wait!

In post 28 you said the first amendment covers it. You gave us a big old Wikipedia jpg with the Wal-Mart anti-solicitation sign they use in California. YOU SAID the first covers it. So tell me how.

Affirmative Action is constitutional. The Supreme Court has, in general, upheld it. They have rejected some of the ways it has been used but not all of them. so it is consitutional.

It's obviously not constitutional. The supreme court does not always give an honest reading.

It obviously violates equal protection under the law, as white males are not given the protections against discrimination that others receive.

As a lawyer, surely you can see that. Or do you abdicate all your thinking to others?
