I see the overall premise of this thread as being correct - too many Trump supporters kept talking like his business success would = success as President, and bought into his whole negotiating and making "big deals" thing. Like running a country is anything at all similar to real estate.

But yeah, his one comment about not being a successful businessman is off. He has been successful in that respect.

Great point supported by clear and convincing evidence. So why are privileged Republican politicians so inept and DEmocrats so polished and effectual? How can we avoid this abyss in the future? Any ideas?

there is no hope. it'll always be red vs. blue, with nothing of substance in between. Good doesn't win over evil, there is no purpose to any of this. We are all being used by the globalists to pad their pockets, eventually we will return to serfdom, and there will be no where for us to go as every piece of land on earth will be under their control. Maybe by then we can go to mars and give this grand experiment a do over.

Republicans may be duped, but looking at the desperation coming from the leftis just pathetic. I like to keep my options open t/o the year and esp when it comes to election time, and nothing baffles me more than the loyal sheeple of one side laughing about loyal sheeple on the other.
