That platform was voted for by the vast majority of Americans.

He still has ratings in like the mid to high sixties.

Most people don't vote on platform. Most people are not party over country as you are. Most people vote on who they like the best. Most people didn't like John McCain... me included.

Until and shortly after 9/11, George Bush was loved by Americans. Even many liberals were giving him a shot. It wasn't until after 9/11 that the hounds came out.

President Obama is by no means the middle. He is simply an individual that many, many, many people happen to like including me. He is very charismatic. He is not in the Center.

And for your information since you seem to think that only conservatives are Republicans and only liberals are Democrats both parties have wide ranges in their political spectrums. Sure, maybe Democrats are farther left than the farthest Republican, and vice versa, but you cannot lump people they way you do.

And once again, for the 1012th time, I am not a Republican.

No thanks, I've been trying to wake her up for something like 7 or 8 years. There are times when I feel like she has almost grasped reality and then someone greases the bar and she loses it again.

Good luck to you sir. She is good people but I've not seen someone view a political party in such an angelic fashion. Trust me, there are lots of partisans like myself. Hers is a whole other level.

Well, I have an angelic view of the Federalist and Whig parties, but not of any existing parties, so I guess I dodge criticism there...

Actually, there were many fanatical High Federalists, and many useless Whigs who helped bring down both parties, so I guess I don't really hold angelic views of them...

...But the belief that America would be a paradise if they had triumphed and the Dem Party extinguished from this earth is certainly a close call to angelic outlook.

She is good people. She's got a heart of gold, but she thinks too highly of certain political associations.
