Republicans for Gary Johnson on Melania's impending deportation

I'm not a Republican or a Democrat or a libertarian....but it think I'm going to go for Johnson at this point at least.

Clinton is a no go. Trump is waxing nuttiness. .if all I can do is a protest vote, and for future ballot access -so be it.
I went for Johnson last time too.

It won't help with ballot access. That's an inaccurate/pernicious meme that may have been started by Johnson's 2012 campaign.

It shows that you have trouble with the facts.

I addressed your other points, crybaby. Here it is again...

If you want to further discussion on your other points, then do so, crybaby.

The overwhelming majority of illegals don't want to be US citizens they are proud of their country and their heritage they are here for one reason and one reason only and that is to make money to buy houses back home fully payed off in less than 5 years. I know this because I work with them, I live in a Hispanic neighborhood, and drink cases of modelo with them on the weekends and we shoot the shit, in fact I might be moving to my buddy Augusto's two story house on the beach in Guatemala once he pays off the mortgage. You don't know what you're talking about because you have never lived, worked, or talked with an illegal immigrant in your life.

Ok, let's start by pretending I believe you...

You don't know shit! I seriously doubt that every person in your Hispanic neighborhood is an illegal. The fact that you jump to that assumption about them leads me to believe you don't have any special incite about their true intentions.

But, of course, I don't believe you. We already have you on record lying to further your argument against immigration and your story is ridiculously implausible.

A guy who owns a two story beach house, is not likely to be an illegal immigrant. Further, a person that has to rely on illegal immigration to earn money is not likely to be able to secure a loan, certainly not on a house of that value.

You are absolutely full of shit.

He doesn't own it yet, that's the point you don't get, he came here to pay off the mortgage down there in less than 5 years, he works 6 days a week from open until close for minimum wage and gets screwed out of overtime but he made a side deal to under count his hours for the feds but he doesn't care because he wants those hours because the dollar goes a lot further down in Guatemala than it does here in the states. He was an electrician in Guatemala but with the exchange rate he makes ten times more here as a dish washer you really have absolutely no fucking clue what you're talking about the per capita income in Guatemala is less than $3000 and you can get a beach house there for less than $100,000, I've looked into it because I want one.

Come on. HE does not even exist.

But according to the story you told he owns a house.

The point you don't get is that no bank would give that kind of a loan to a guy that has to go to another country, illegally, for work. You are lying.

-- Melania Trump's former modeling agent says she obtained a work visa before she modeled professionally in the United States in the mid-1990s. Those comments came in response to questions about Mrs. Trump's own remarks that appeared inconsistent with U.S. immigration rules.
In an interview with The Associated Press, agent Paolo Zampolli offered the most detailed description yet of how the wife of the Republican presidential nominee came into the country.

Republicans are not united on this topic. Trump is not appealing to those sectors that want more h-1bs. He has attacked the program.

I am in IT, so I know about H-1b. What loopholes?

I am for more immigration and less restrictions on all. Remove the restrictions on the h1-b immigrant that weakens his/her bargaining power and you will improve the bargaining power of domestic labor.
There's a loophole for "contractors" on HB1 visas. Employers hire contracting firms to fill their need for skilled technologist or professionals and, technically, these people work for the contractor and not the American company. Check out what Disney did to it's IT workers in Orlando with HB1 visas.

US citizens CAN own land in Mexico. I have provided a source to prove my assertion and you have done nothing but restate your unsupported claim. Here, I will help you get started with the research... https://www.google.com/webhp?source...ie=UTF-8#q=can+us+citizens+own+land+in+mexico

By the way, in 1995 (when Melania came here) there were modest barriers to US citizens owning property in Slovenia. Lots of countries/regions have these stupid laws.

The rest of your argument was unsupported speculation.

Many Mexicans will/would seek citizenship if there are legal opportunities. I know several that have. From what I have heard from the right, they are more opposed to immigrants gaining citizenship than a work visa, which makes your point seem strange.

You are the one that does not get it. The only difference between Melania and the immigrants Trumpettes attack is pigmentation.

Our former poster Maineman owned a house in Mexico, although I don't know if he had dual citizenship.

You mean he claimed to own a house in Mexico. :D

Americans and other foreigners may obtain direct ownership of property in the interior of Mexico. However, under Mexican law, foreigners cannot own property outright within the restricted zone. Instead, a real estate trust must be set up to hold title for the foreigner.

He not only claimed it, he said his house had a write-up in a Mexican magazine like Architectural Digest.

It did.

Doesn't mean he owned it.

Mexican real estate laws for foreigners are complex. The house he claimed to own was in the restricted zone.

Read up on it if you want.
