Republicans fail to pass healthcare reform

It is EPIC that the Republicans cannot accomplish the central campaign theme they campaigned on for 7 years.

They have the HOUSE the SENATE and the WHITE HOUSE, it appears they cant come up with anything better than Obamacare, and they know certain defeat is coming if they simply repeal it.

Yeah, they're pussies.
The obvious best solution is repeal and replace with Moosecare. They're to unimaginative to come up with something like that.
Second best is repeal and do nothing. Again , they're pussies.
Third is fix Obamacare. They won't do that because it would be an admission that ACA is better than anything they come up with. But they're already doing that with their non action.

The Republican base is getting subsidies for Obamacare policies and the rich part of the party doesn't want to pay for that. Perfect wedge. I'm sure they will do something: Obamacare classic, Obamacare lite, Obamacare with lime.

They will get it done eventually, just like the House they know the egg on their face would be greater than doing nothing, besides, the majority of the few voicing opposing views will be bought out with White House promises

Kinda hope they do pass it, preferably after tying themselves up for months, would give the Democrats another issue to use in 2018 especially in those red states as West Virginia
 
It appears we have some responsible politicians here not voting strictly on partisan lines just to get something passed. Just to say they "won". I hardly consider this responsible way of voting for something a failure.

How out of touch you are. The entire process was done in secret without any Dem input. The problem was a secret process that didn't address even the breadth of Republican thinking, such as it is.

The fail is a failure within your party, not a reaching across ideological aisles.

That said a trillion dollar tax cut for mass death failing is a good day for good people.
