Patriotism is demonstrated in upholding American ideals, like equality, justice, morality, and truth. We do this at home and we do it abroad (not that you've ever traveled, you pathetic bumpkin). Patriotism is demonstrated in caring for ourselves and for the people around us -- both acquaintances and strangers.
