That only applies because of the 17th Amendment. repeal the 17th Amendment and you have the correct type of representation the founders envisioned and created for the Senate.

SCOTUS IS out of step, with the Constitution. the courts have been politicized and it's been that way since ratification........the founders screwed up on that part, but hindsight is 20/20.

Let’s have them be elected by the people directly and increase the number by population

Reps being elected by local people to represent their area


Senators elected by the entire state vote


The people will see their power increase
