That's my point, I feel (and possibly wrongly) that I can honestly say whether I think someone is 'hot' or 'pretty' strictly looking at them leaving everything else aside. That's how I feel about Palin when I think for her age she is hot and regardless of age she is pretty attractive.

Of course if we're talking about someone we'd want to date, marry etc. then many factors come into play in terms of what makes a woman 'hot' or 'pretty' or 'attractive'.

Now its quite possible I'm deluding myself but as I said upon seeing her originally before knowing too much about her, on looks alone, I thought she was really good looking.

Is she attractive? Yes, but she's no Heather Locklear (my heartthrob from my teenage years - Dynasty, T.J. Hooker and such) :).

Does it matter to me that she is attractive as to why I like her? No. Lots of very attractive gals I can't stand. Can you say Brittney Spears?

Fact is she lines up with my social, fossil fuel and 2nd ammendment beliefs perfectly....

abortion - she's against it and so am I.
oil - she's for "drill here, drill now" and so am I.
guns - she's for 'em and so am I.

I think this is exactly why she wasn't a good fit for McCain. She was way too radical to ever hold a national office determined by a national election....and so am I.

I do love the way people combatted her by questioning her intelligence and such....and I have my suspicions as to why. She ain't no dummy.....and neither am I.

BAC, thus the seperation of hot and everything else. One can discuss looks on purely a physical level.

As I said brother, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Kim Catrall is attractive and "hot" .. Sarah Palin is normal .. in my opinion.

Palin's supposed "attrractiveness" and "hotness" was put forth by republicans since the day McCain chose her. I never saw what they were crowing about and once she opened her mouth .. pure Alvin the Chipmunk. I don't want to fuck Alvin.

On the issues she demonstrated why it took her so long and so many schools to get a journalism degree. She was way over her head from the moment she stepped into the spotlight.

Republicans are big on bumper-sticker slogans, so they wrapped her in the "America First" slogan and her supposed "hotness" and invented a distraction that should never be considered to lead this country.

She may be no dummy, but she isn't national leadership by any stretch of the imagination.

That's absolutely correct .. I just wanted to add my perspective to something that, first and foremeost, should not be an issue .. and to comments I don't see in the flesh.

There should be multiple political parties in America.

The two-party trap does great disservice to Americans.

Yeah, a couple of dudes talking about the attractiveness of a woman on a political chat board is dooming the West. When China owns us in a year or two maybe they will do us a favor and force women to dress in clothes from head to toe with only their eyes showing so we don't fall into this trap again.
