If this new case is resolved the way the DRAFT Opinion reads...

Republicans will have killed one of the biggest restrictions on Big Government that there is... The Right to Privacy from government intervention into our private lives.




While scary for us, its also hilarious.
 
They hated the biggest limitation there was on Government intrusion, and by crook they stole it.

what I find hilarious is you interpreting the federal government as removing itself from any authority over medical privacy as an increase in federal government power ROFL

Because the right to privacy was a limit to government (including the states) power. You might be too stupid to see it but it was not limited to abortion. States or the Federal government are not free to pass laws on all kinds of things, interracial marriage, legality of birth control, plastic surgery, travel, internet usage….
 
The conservatives on the court did not say, yes the right to privacy exists but life is more important. They simply said the right to privacy does not exist.
 
I would not have had such a problem with the Court Ruling had they said... The Right to Privacy exists, but life is more important and so we strike down R v. W, but they are trying to take away one of our biggest protections from government intrusion into our lives.

you might be too stupid to see that it didn't do that much to protect privacy, given that ERPO laws were allowed, gun registrations were allowed, etc. your faux outrage over one specific issue is noted
 
Nobody cares about limits on what powers government has about our private lives?
 
Men will have all rights to privacy over their Body and medical facts


Women will have no medical rights



Women will be prosecuted for having miscarriages


Courts will hear all their private medical conditions and treatments and can prosecute them for taking certain medication for existing conditions that might harm a fetus even if they are designed to save her life



Her health doesn’t matter


Only the fetus matters
 
What does a raped woman do when she is on life sustaining medication that will harm the fetus of her rapist


There is no way she can carry that fetus to term because she will die if she does not take the medication that will harm that fetus

But the fetus means more to society than she does


So she has no choice but to stop that medication and be forced to die incase the fetus might make it before she dies
