Republicans are calling porn a 'public health crisis,' but is it really?

With all the serious issues facing our nation, these republicans come up with this meaningless crap?
Globally, porn is a $97 billion industry, between $10 billion and $12 billion of that comes from the United States. Revenue from traditional porn films has been shrinking, though, because of piracy and an abundance of free content on the Internet.

The Republicans buy a lot of porn, this is another platform issue that always makes me chuckle!

I don't know how harmful it is or isn't, but I think it's amusing feminists give it a pass lol.

I thought the objectification of women was just something us toxically masculine male patriarchs indulged in.

Tell that to the girl that got beheaded by a train having sex the other day. Porn isn't just the old in out anymore. The entertainment issue of one trying to top the other guy is making for a dangerous situation.

It's good to know you keep such a close eye on porn. :rofl2:

I am the type of feminist that believe women should be allowed to make choices for themselves. If women wish to be porn stars that is their business. There are still to many abuses in the industry, but feminism has done a good job helping to clean up the industry.

Actually there are many feminists who are anti-porn. This is one of those issues where left and right converge for different reasons.

To me it's a matter of to each his own. If someone wants to work in the industry so be it and if someone wants to watch porn so be it. Not that it's that big a deal but I'm not a fan the party position here.

The party position? Sounds good, how does that work?
