Republicans are afraid of everything

Whatever you wanna make of it is OK with me.
They do a lot of stupid things too. Tax cuts without cutting spending is my pet peeve. Obsession with abortion is kinda stupid.

Okay explain how they are slaves to the DNC. Don't their constituents vote for them? :dunno:

This is a pretty good explanation:

I’ve only recently came across the term “Democratic Plantation”, but it hits home, and is something I’ve been fighting against since day one.

1. Blind voting — It has always bothered me why so many “blacks” automatically vote for Democrats. If the entire group does this, how in hell can they expect to keep them on their toes?

2.Learned dependence — it is not just “blacks” that are on this Plantation. Anyone who have become dependent on “handouts” will be there as well.

3. No incentive to improve the lives of those living in the “Plantation” — if the economic prospects improve for those that are currently dependent, they are not as guaranteed to vote Democratic. Why, they might actually want lower taxes so they can enjoy even more of their newly-found prosperity and vote Republican!

4. Affirmative Action — oh here’s a real beauty for you, as it is about as condescending and mind-numbing as it gets. It perpetuates the false notion that if you are in a “protected class” (read: on the Plantation!!!) it makes you feel utterly helpless without help from “mommy government”, to the point you just might not bother trying that extra bit which would quickly lead to your “emancipation”.
There are more evils here, but I think the above highlights the depth of the issues. It is designed to keep you enslaved so the Democrats can stay in power, with the hopes that you are too dumb to see the game.

And sadly, far too many far for this ruse in the US year after year, decade after decade. They don’t have to. They can leave the Plantation at any time. If only they can get past the thick blanket of conditioning the Democrats have been very successful at.

I am going to address Affirmative Action now and address the rest later.

Affirmative Action was created to ensure that equally or more qualified Blacks and women are on equal footing with white men in the hiring processes.

Too many of them have been rejected based on their race and sex.

Yes and no. AA sometimes assures a less qualified person of an underrepresented demographic get preferential treatment in hiring or academic acceptances. That's well documented. It definitely helps against historical discrimination but this isn't the '50's or '60's anymore.

In the '50's and '60's especially.
Now if some kid came in and interviewed with me for a job wearing his pants backwards and low enough to show 6 inches of his boxer shorts to make some kind of statement about his culture I'd certainly discriminate and wouldn't hire him.

I am sure you have a source for that.

You are well within your right to reject him.

Bakke decision
https://www.britannica.com/event/Bakke-decision

The medical school rejected the application of Bakke, who was white, but accepted five black applicants, including Dr. Chavis, who had lower test scores and lower college grades than Bakke. The five won admission under a special racial-preference quota.
Then, it all started to go wrong for Dr. Chavis.
An administrative law judge found Dr. Chavis guilty of gross negligence and incompetence in the treatment of three women, one of whom died, and the California medical board suspended his license, saying he had an "inability to perform some of the most basic duties required of a physician."
