Republicans Acknowledge Biden Bribe Audio Might Not Exist

Several Republicans said this week that they don’t know if there really are tapes of Joe Biden talking about taking a bribe.

Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) revealed Monday that a tip the FBI received in 2020 said a foreign national had recordings of himself discussing a $5 million payment to Biden when he was vice president.

The audio purported to be a compelling new detail about the FBI tip, which Republicans have demanded be made public since learning of it last month.

At the same time, the uncertainty over whether the recordings actually exist is a reminder that while the tip came from a credible career informant, the informant’s source is someone else, and the underlying information, audio and all, remains unverified hearsay.

It would be nice if the democrats actually investigated it to find out if they actually exist or not but they are refusing to do so

Of course, it does not exist, if it did, we would’ve heard it 1 million times by now.

The Republicans are in charge of the house, the house does this kind of investigations all the time. Why aren’t they doing it? They aren’t doing it because they know it will be nothing, they’d rather the amorphous allegations.

It’s the FBI and the DOJ that need to investigate it, they have the evidence but they are ignoring it.

They have to be threatened to even turn over the smallest amount of evidence to the House

When the FBI and DOJ don’t do their jobs, the house is supposed to investigate, have committee hearings, and do something about it. And the situation they won’t, because all they would expose is that they have been lying.

They are trying to but those departments are stonewalling them which is why Mcarthy is threatening them with contempt

What? The Repubs have been investigating this since they took the house and sad for you, they have failed to find anything. Ron Johson the crazy i\on has admitted the tapes rightys keep talking about do not exist.

It's not the democrats job to investigate all of the Republiclowns silly conspiracy theories like 2000 Mules, 2000 Twitter Files and now 2000 FBI audio files.

If the Republiclowns want to make fools of themselves, the democrats are willing to oblige.

Chair James Comer (R-Ky.) said regarding tapes about President Biden accepted bribe money "We don’t know if they’re legit or not."
The FBI has resisted handing over a copy of the form for public consumption, maintaining that such documents contain uncorroborated information.
“We don’t know for sure if these tapes exist,” Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio)
“We don’t know really if the tapes exist, we just don’t know that, whether this was just a bluff." Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.)
