Republican lose support in almost all demographics

This source shows either a drop or a relatively flat attendance.

This site reports basically no change in church attendance.

"But while some churches have seen higher numbers, the recent Gallup Poll found "absolutely no change" in church attendance after reviewing almost 300,000 interviews Gallup conducted throughout this year."

There has been a drop in Catholic Church attendance since the mid 1950's and I suspect your polls reflect that. It is the firm belief of many lay Catholics that this coincides with Vatican II and the "liberalization" of the Church. Although I am not completely convinced of this causation myself the argument is a powerful one and indeed much stronger than I can present with my relatively uneducated opinion on the subject.

I'm sure you didn't realise it was from the NYT Archives.
No I didn't. I "googled" for it, found the exact phrase with a religious source and the NYT, and chose the NYT since it is a Liberal source and would therefore lend more weight to my conservative position.

I like the news in chart form:

Ouch.

people tend to pray not to lose their homes and be homeless and hungry....

Thanks Bush for that Deregulation of the banking industry!!!

Actually Rob, it was CLINTON and the Rep Congress that deregulated the banking industry. Bush just didn't do anything to correct the mistake.

I bet the gay vote was much more 'stable' than that of the 'Southerners'

But gays with more than 100 partners are inherently unstable. And there is no number for how many partners it takes to make you unstable. Its all about the discretion.

and most troubling for them and laughable for me is the 18 to 29 yr old college grads who will be future voters. The only group they made gains in are frequent church goers.:clink:

I believe it...the logic is obvious...Aspiring school teachers
fail in math
Only 27 percent of the teaching
candidates pass

MALDEN, Mass. (WPRI) - According to state education officials, nearly three-quarters of the people who took the state elementary school teacher’s licensing exam this year failed the new math section.

Is it any wonder they support Democrats ......this certainly explains why the 18 to 28 year olds support Dims also....
Stupid teachers produce stupid grads which leads to stupid voting citizens....= more DimDem support

typical rightwing tool response and prob comes from a public hs grad.
teachers do not make up the majority of college grads, just the ones who can't cut it in a tough major.
