So it looks like Brownback's staffers and the school principle blew this out of proportion. She should ask the principle for an apology for calling her an embarassement.

I remember when he embarrased the entire state of Kansas by supporting the reactionary bid to drop teaching biological evolution in Kansas.

You missed that the principal ordered her to write an apology to Brownback.
Sullivan received a scolding at school and was ordered to send Brownback an apology letter. She said Principal Karl R. Krawitz even suggested talking points for the letter she was supposed to turn in Monday.

We already know that. The question is this. Do we know Brownback is behind the apology demand? We don't seem to have that information and a few posters have made that allegation without any evidence.

Because the butthead quotient in this story wasn't high enough already, the school responded to Brownback's sniveling about adolescents with political opinions by attempting to force the teenage girl in question to write a letter of apology to Gov. Brownback.
The teenager in question, Emma Sullivan, 18, responded by demonstrating her superior understanding of the basic principles of democracy by refusing, and instead causing the easily perturbed governor even more consternation by asking for a sit-down meeting to ask direct questions of the governor, furthering demonstrating no doubt to him that everything started to go wrong with this country when they let women have the vote.
The freakout over a teenage girl having a less-than-flattering opinion of him was also predictable if you look at Brownback's long history with the C Street Family, a religious-political group that specifically promotes patriarchy and disdains the idea of women holding political power.

So the Obama team has gone after high schoolers that tweet negative things about the president? I guess trolling Twitter isn't really all that odd, but complaining about something a high schooler tweeted is fucked.

Talking about fucking stupid if Brownback was against that happening and considering the resulting fallout who ever in his campaign group made that call would be out on the street in a NY minute. Try to use that tiny brain of yours. When a major fuck-up like that happens the one responsible takes the fall unless, of course, it was done with Brownback's approval.

I'd agree with the complaining bit. But your post was about trolling twitter... Obamabots do that already, they even have special places to "report" the "evildoers"... Your shock and dismay that the Governor was out checking twitter for people saying stuff is ridiculous considering the President you support does the same thing.
Actually, my post was about trolling Twitter and reporting a high school kid for saying mean things about the governor. And, upon reflection, I have come to the conclusion that trolling Twitter isn't really all that odd while reporting the high schooler was douchebaggery of the highest order.
