Republican CRT Book Burning 2.0: Can't Teach Feel-Bad History

Agreed. They are gaslighting and projecting in order to justify doing the same thing.

Notice how many times they justify 1/6 by pointing to a BLM riot. They truly believe two wrongs make a right. Fucking morons.

Exactly. They always try to misdirect us with pictures/videos like this.

So does this mean schools have to pass out participation trophies so the losers of the spelling bee dont feel sad?

Teachers can’t discipline kids for running around the class instead of paying attention

The kids will feel sad

All the children are beautiful little snowflakes

Don’t tell them we had to fight and kill British people to be a nation

Some have relatives from Briton

It will make them think they murdered their great great granny

Don’t teach them about the great flood

They will have survivors guilt that their relatives made the boat

And all those people died

It will make them sad

Don’t teach them about guns

It will make them feel sad

Oh yeah

Guns don’t kill people

People kill people

Don’t teach them about people

There is nothing wrong with 'burning books'.
Just so long as everyone whom burns the books - does so of their own, free will AND it is their books that they are burning.

Just like I really could not give a shit if someone destroys monuments/statues/flags.
So long as it is not someone else's that they are destroying.

Burning books is silly anyway.

Destroying books 100 years ago reduced the number of books that people could read.
However, burning books today is meaningless in this regard.
As almost every book, ever written is available online, for free.

Burning physical books in 2022 is probably just some simpleton's idea of 'making a statement'.

I cried when I learned that the Library of Alexandria was burned down.
