Hello Jack,
Yes.
It was sarcasm. There is no proof that white hegemony will protect against progressives. Sanders is an idiot who brought us Trump.
How did Bernie give us Trump? Not trying to put words in your mouth but do you believe as others do he should have stepped aside and let Hillary run unchallenged?
One of the arguments we have seen in objection to simply allowing more legal immigration is that there is a fear that Latinos and Latinas will vote Democratic.
That is a very real possibility. History has shown a strong support for Democratic candidates within that demographic.
(And the problem with that is?)
OK, notwithstanding any traditional objections of one party platform over the other, I would like to politely suggest that if the Republican party wishes to remain relevant it is going to have to adopt policies which are more appealing to hard working lower income people such as these immigrants.
Many are already here, they are legal, and they are reaching voting age. The demographics of the nation are changing, and there is little which can be done to change that. And no justifiable reason to try.
If the Republican party wants to appeal to the changing face of America, the Republican party is going to have to change with the times.
It is absurd to try to cling to a moment in time.
What do you think? You can just jump up and yell: "OK! I like what we have right now! Just freeze everything right there and stop all this change!" (Not gonna happen...)
You guys can pretend you are eliminating nonexistent 'voter fraud' all you want but you are only fooling yourselves. You can gerrymander all the precincts you can get away with, make voting as difficult as possible so that only the rich can easily vote, purge all the Democratic names you can sort of justify from voter rolls, but that is only going to preserve your outsized (and slipping) grip on power for so long - then it is going to slip away from you.
Maybe it is time to really embrace the idea that this nation is founded on the principles of true equality.
I know. That's a big step for many of you.
But it is one you are going to have to face.
Sooner or later.
And besides. If you stop all this cruelty and let people be what they can be, people will be more well adjusted. They will become more productive. The GDP will rise higher than ever thought possible. And it will be easier to control the national debt. Remember that? You guys used to care about the debt. I remember when you did.
Nobody wants to turn the wealthy into paupers.
People just want to share in the prosperity.
And I think that is possible.
We can build a better future together.
Are you living under a rock?
He was used by Russia to create division, his supporters whined about the process arming Donald and his protectionist policies led many of his supporters to switch their allegiance to Trump.

If you want to live with more brown people, you can move to Mexico now.
Is it possible to be any more foolish that to believe scions of the conservative movement and america's rich investor were invested in improving the power and status of Joe and Jane working class american?
Hello cawacko,
Hard to imagine anything sillier. Talk about being duped. And now the same thing is happening with Trump. Lincoln was right. You can fool some of the people all of the time.
Can you show me an example of the argument you claimed we have all heard? The only people I've ever heard say that were democrats making the claim of republicans. Can you cite a republican making the claim?
That was Cypress' quote from 2007. He was talking about free trade and our trade agreements. Yet look at people today who would otherwise agree with his statement turning into pro free traders.
