If the UN wants the US to pay more then the UN should mandate that the US pay more. I believe we are currently at 22 or 24% of their budget. The things that are being cut are contributions over and above the thing we are required to pay. If the UN wants the US to pay 30 35 or 40% of their budget then let them say so.
