Everyone has the ability. You've made your choice not to. Pride...when we think that we ourselves are God...don't worry, you've plenty of company these days. Not many left who enjoy humbling and submitting themselves to the Lord. My past identifies with you, it was easier then to do whatever I personally told myself I wanted to do, loaded with pride, I was my own God.

The only problem with your statement is it is erroneous, my belief, to name god is not God. It does not mean I perceive myself a god because I do not believe as you do. I use to be as you are now, then I researched and Christianity is no longer the answer for me, but I was a Christian for 40’years, but I found a better path for myself.
