You can lament the loss of innocents, but if I were an Israeli soldier, I know that I wouldn't give a shit.

I was a foreign invader sent to kill freedom fighters on their own land more than a half-century ago.
Once placed there, my choice was to fight or let them kill me.
I wish that I had half as much moral high ground as the Israelis have.

Nope. The estimate was actually that 2,000 of that # were children & babies. I see them as innocent, just as I see the Israeli victims as innocent.

I am pro-Israel, btw. Your assumptions are ridiculous, and wrong.
 
For the record, this thread is in response to the dozens if not hundreds of posts on this board that are callous about Gazan casualties, and assume the attitude that they don't matter, because they "support Hamas anyway" and "voted them into power" and "cheered the attack on Israel."

All of those rationalizations are intended to make everyone feel "better" about the deaths in Gaza. But there are innocents on both sides. What happened to Israel is devastating, and of course thy are justified to respond to that.

who's estimate is that 2000 of the 5000 killed were children and babies.......the estimate of Hamas?.......the estimate of pro-Hamas protesters in London?......the estimate of Talib?.......you are lying out of your ass.....

They HAVE killed innocents, but to this point, I don't believe they have done so intentionally.

As I said in my last post - this thread is more about the people here who do not care about those lost lives in Gaza.
