Yes, it's so stupid to suggest that Tennessee isn't really a state a Democrat should expect to win based on recent history showing that Democrats don't really win that often. What the hell was I thinking?
Hilarious.

Imagine how much closer to Communism we would be had the former NPP winner taken office.Jeez Jarod, do you understand why he got made fun of for that? Clinton/Gore won Tennessee in 1992 and 1996. If Gore won Tennessee in 2000 he would have been President.
So what if Obama won Michigan by 400,000 votes in 08.......500,000 have moved out of Detroit since then.....I think the reason Gore losing his home state was laughable is that it was considered a swing state at the time. Obviously, Michigan hasn't been regarded as a swing state for decades. But Romney could still pull it off.
You really don't know much about politics, do you?

Right. Let's see... It went to the Ds in the previous two elections... Hmmm... Yeah, there was no indication that it was possible for a D to win that state, especially not one that actually won two statewide elections previously in that same state... then twice more as the VP...
Yeah, it was "impossible" for him to win.
Its so much fun to see Republicans add caviats to prior claims and statements when they come back to bite them in the ass.
This is a 100% rhetorical question. You see no difference between a candidate that just loses his home state vs. a candidate who loses the election because he didn't win his home state?
For example if McCain lost Arizona in 2008 people could have laughed at him and said 'you didn't even win your home state'. McCain happened to win his home state but it made no difference in the election results. If Gore had won his home state he would have won the election. Yet there is no difference to you? (Again rhetorical question)
I dont belive that distinction was made back when they were ridiculing Gore for not even being able to win his home state. Even before the outcome of the election had been determined.
