Reid's Plan a Failure

If the debt ceiling isn't raised will Obama we given total control over what gets cut. If the government can't borrow then it can't run a deficit.

I wasn't wrong. You said Dems have no ideas on this thread, and several others.

Now you're lying. I never said the Democrats have no ideas in this thread. You were wrong to claim I was disingenuous as I never claimed Reid was grandstanding. Then you changed your claim and still refuse to admit your error. You are a worthless addition to this thread and your immaturity in being unable to admit you're wrong is unfortunate.

I see you've met Onceler.

Thats very funny stuff.....its also very sad that he is the way he is.....so like all the rest of the pinheads....

Why did Boehner's plan get so much flak from liberals when Reid's plan was the same failure? Are democrats ashamed they have no ideas, no power and are the party of no?

If I say, "Are Republicans ashamed that Bush's war was such a mistake?" I'm saying Bush's war was a mistake (and it was).

Soooooo disingenuous. You have the usual suspects eating it up, though.

Says the guy who thinks the Reagan admin was the last one to say deficit spending doesn't matter (yeah - I noticed that. You really know your history...NOT)

No, you would not be saying that. You would be asking a question though. If you like, I can give you the definition of question and statement so you can learn for yourself the difference. Also, when you read my OP you saw that I had asked a similar question. This whole thread has been about asking questions, not making statements. That is two times you have falsely accused me of saying things I never said. Are you mature enough to apologize?

I am sadly not surprised by the number of liberals who are blatant liars on this board. I find liberal talking heads and those who post anonymously to be the biggest liars. Most of the liberals I know in my life are not liars. But I guess when you can hide behind a username, you can throw shame, integrity and honesty right out the window.

Thats was when they were actually speaking about the deficit....context matters...

Cheney said the phase also.....but put into context....he was talking about winning a mid-term election....and deficit spending not adversely affecting the outcome....

In the full quotation, recounted by Paul O'Neill, Cheney said,

"You know, Paul, Reagan proved deficits don't matter. We won the midterms"(meaning the Congressional mid-terms in November 2002)

And it would probably be a safe bet that someone else used the phase in some context since 2003 too....

So there is history and there is nit-picking bullshit, which you quite famous for....

Unreal. If you are going to put something in context, use the entire quote next you simple minded child.
