After 2020, the whole world turned upside down. Why in the world would anyone change horses in the middle of a pandemic stream? I was so angry and disillusioned that I vowed my voting days were over. For a few short hours, I hoped that he would just keep the Trump policies in place and claim credit for them. But no, he didn’t do that at all, did he?

So where are we now? The government is fucked up in the extreme, the polls are virtually meaningless, and I seriously believe the leftist portion of the electorate is too stupid to choose a sane government, or dark forces are manipulating the process.

If it’s purely a matter of stupidity, hell, there could be a damn blue wave. If it’s dark forces, there could be a blue squeaker or a blue wave if they’re stupid dark forces. If the dark forces are smart, they’ll stay out of this one because a blue wave OR even a squeaker is illogical given the current situation.

Logically and historically, I would be all in on a red wave at this point. Right now the best I can hope for is a red squeaker.

Obama is 100% correct. Election deniers at the state level pose a huge threat to democracy.

There are better checks at the federal level. However, had Pence not done the right thing, we would have had a real mess on our hands.

Democracy, we’re finding, is more fragile than most of us ever imagined. The Trumpers taught us that, at least.

My definition for this election: if results are closer to.40 congressional seats and more than 2 senate seats, that would be a "wave".

Biden is campaigning for incumbents who are struggling this week......in California, Illinois and New Mexico.....
